We're halfway there, folks. And, for me, the prep for CMON Expo is ramping up. Tomorrow is set-up, and then the show proper begins on Friday morning, bright and early (ok, not as early as I'm usually up, which is about 4am, but still, pretty early). If we're gonna make it through the show, we should nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

It's halfway over. The work week is about half-done for most of us. With any luck, you're looking forward to a weekend of gaming. I might be doing some of that. But I can guarantee that I'll be doing some baking. Actually, that'll start tomorrow. We're having a chili and dessert cook-off here at the office on Friday. Then, over the weekend, I need to "pay for" a custom game mat design a friend did by baking him some of his favorite treats and sending them off. Hey, the barter system is alive and well among my friends. You do some graphic design for me and I'll bake cookies and brownies for you. But before we get to those bite-size treats, let's nosh on some bite-size gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Final Days for Cult of Barnacle Bay on Kickstarter, MASK FX Camouflage tape is back, 17 New Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, New Void Elves Available From Raging Heroes, New Orc Mechanic Available From Kromlech, and Voting For Round 1 of Iron Painter Happening Now.

Woo!
We've made it back to Friday. We all know my love of today. But it's not just any Friday. It's International Tabletop Day Eve. Yes, tomorrow we celebrate our hobby all over the world. Hopefully you're planning on going out and celebrating. Many LGSs and gaming clubs have festivities planned. Be sure to check with yours and see what's going on. And if you're going to be doing all that gaming, you should be well-fed. So let's nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: New 3D Printable Tanks by 3DWargaming, Dark Sword Miniatures' Stephanie Law Masterworks Expansion Up On Kickstarter, Blackwater Gulch Pledge Manager closing May 1st, Runewars Miniature Game Official Army Painting Guides Available From The Army Painter, and RBJ Games' Significant Seven Kickstarter Reaches Funding Goal.

So, this is one of the ones I've really been having to bite my tongue about for the past couple months. I've been playtesting the A Song of Ice and Fire Miniatures Game. Yeah, it's not been easy to not go, "Hey! Everyone! Look at what I'm playing!!!" I think you're going to like it. It's a great mix of a rank-and-file miniatures game that runs smoothly like a skirmish game does, with great scale-ability. Meaning you can easily play a small skirmish between just a couple units, or have a huge battle where entire houses are attacking each-other on the battlefield.

We're already to Wednesday. That's what happens when you've got a day off at the start of the week.
This'll be my last day here in the old office. We're moving up the street a couple miles to a new building. Got a couple days at home, though, as they work to finish up some last details on the new place (like... internet) and get all the furniture and such in place. But in the meantime, let's stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Ares Games Announces Divinity Derby Kickstarter, New 6mm American Civil War Paper Armies From Grand Manoeuvre, New Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, Squarriors: The Card Game Coming To Kickstarter, Lead Adventure Miniatures Launches Dwarven Gold Fever, and Badass Riders Coming To Kickstarter.

We're halfway there, everyone. Midway point of the week. The weekend's coming ever-closer. Hopefully you have some sort of gaming plans scheduled. I mean, it's the weekend. Don't want to just be sitting at home doing nothing (though, actually, there's something to be said about that from time to time, too). Well, no matter what you do, we need to finish up this week first. So let's get some energy via bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Brigade Models Release Updated Japanese Aeronef, Black Earth 28mm tabletop wargame launches on IndieGoGo in February, Purgatory is entering the final 2 weeks of Pledge Manager, Krakon Games Kickstart their Scum & Smuggler characters, Latest Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, New Legionary Releases From Kromlech, Ludus Magnus Studio Announces Sine Tempore Board Game, Tabletop Tyrant Miniatures Cases Up On Kickstarter, New Releases Available From Victoria Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm T-64BV Tank, and Hardwood deck boxes with Illuminated artwork on Kickstarter.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
Or, for those of you not in the US. Happy Wednesday!
As for me, I'm going to be busy when I get home. I need to bake another pumpkin pie, put turkey 1 into the brine bucket, speed-thaw turkey 2 (place in cold, running water for a couple hours), and make whipped cream for the pies (cream, sugar, and spices). Gonna be very busy, but should be fun. But to have enough energy for that, I need to nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Dark Sword Miniatures has posted up their last releases for the year over on their site. They include 16 new figures from the Tony DiTerlizzi Masterworks Series. Tom Meier and Dave Summers did the sculpting on most of the minis. Click through for a video presentation of the new figures. Along with that, Dark Sword is letting us know what we can be expecting from them in the coming year.

Dark Sword Miniatures never rests in their pursuit to bring you the best fantasy miniatures that they can. They get in some of the most talented sculptors there are in order to make their figures stand out. And today they're happy to launch a new fantasy miniatures line. They're the Tony DiTerlizzi Masterworks Premium figures and they're available now.

The folks over at Dark Sword Miniatures sure haven't been sitting around doing nothing lately. Their latest releases are available over in their webshop. If you're a fan of anthropomorphic critters in medieval garb, then you're in luck, as the 16 new releases are just that.

You know what they say about "rabbits" and "multiplication." Apparently the same can be said about raccoons. The reason i say that is that Dark Sword Miniatures has been almost inundated with new releases of the critters over in their webshop for this month.

The Dark Sword Miniatures campaign for their new range of minis based off of Tony DiTerlizzi's artwork is going rather well. They're at more than 6x funded, but they're in their final couple hours. There's been a few more add-ons added. If you want to get in on the action, you'd better hurry because the clock's almost at 0.

Over the next couple days, I'll be prepping for the D&D game I'm running on Saturday. Last session, the group narrowly avoided TPK twice. So obviously, I need to up my game some.

Well, it's Monday. Those of you with the ability and desire, I hope you enjoyed last night's Game of Thrones episode. Don't worry, you won't get any spoilers from me. I've not seen the episode yet. Though, if I had to guess, based on what I know of the show, I assume there was backstabbing going on, possibly both literally and figuratively. Well, if you've wanted to bring that excitement and adventure to your tabletop, Dark Sword Miniatures helps you out with 11 new releases as part of their George R.R. Martin line.

Dark Sword Miniatures has launched, and is already in their final days of (it's a really short campaign), their Critter Kingdoms: Anthro Animals Miniatures Line Kickstarter campaign. They're looking to expand their popular "Critter Kingdoms" set of miniatures, and it seems that's going to happen. They're closing in on being 4x funded, breaking through 8 stretch goals already.
The campaign has just 5 days left if you want to get in on the action.

From the campaign: Discuss
Dark Sword Miniatures has 9 new releases available over in their webshop. There's some giant lizards, some female warriors, some foxes, and more.
They also give us a look ahead to July, when they'll be at Gen Con Indy and a bit about what they have in store.
One note: not all the minis on their website are fully clothed. All the previews below the break are fine, though.

It's another Sunday. Time for some more of the shorter, bite-sized stories that we've come across in the past couple days.
