Dark Gate

It's the Saturday before Gen Con. A week from now we'll be shoulder-deep in the show.
Of course, that means this weekend is full of running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to get everything done before heading to Indy.
But, even with all the brouhaha, there's time to bring you the reviews that you so desperately desire.

This week we have: Book of Nox Deluxe, Fishy Tactics, Agamemnon, Infinity Morat Rodoks, Tyrants of the Underdark, Scythe, Dungeon Busters, Dead of Winter: The Long Night, Portal: The Uncooperative Cake Acquistion Game, Vampire Hunters, Via Nebula, Antarctica, Titan Race, Agricola: Revised Edition, and Vikings on Board.

Dark Gate Games has made it over their funding goal by more than double for their Vampire Hunters board game over on Kickstarter. They've made it through several stretch goals already, but could always make it through more. Next up on the block is Dallas and the incredibly huge guns she wields. They've posted some rules playthrough videos you can check out as well.
The campaign's got just under two weeks left.

From the campaign:
Dark Gate Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Vampire Hunters, their new board game where you... well... hunt vampires. In the game, 1-4 players must work together to remove the vampire menace from the world. The game takes place on modular tiles which are used to create different boards for each of the 10 missions in the core game. Each Vampire Hunter comes with an awesome array of weapons and a special ability with which to send Nosferatu back to the land of the dead.
The campaign is set to run for another 19 days.

From the campaign:
Dark Gate Games is holding a contest on their Facebook page to give away a copy of their Vampire Hunters board game. Simply head over there and share their promo video. Then, when their Kickstarter is running, they'll pick 3 people who shared it to get a copy of the game and stretch goals. Seems pretty sweet!

From the post:
Dark Gate Ltd launched their Kickstarter campaign for a new line of sci-fi barriers they've been working on.

Sci Fi Barricades

From the campaign:

The initial offering consists of 5 barricades with differents battle damage, made in high quality resin in 28mm to 32mm scale. All products are supplied unpainted.

Dark Gate is working on Vhunters, a new vampire-hunting board game. They'll be bringing it to Kickstarter soon.

From the website:

Vhunters is a cooperative board game for 1-4 players.
Take the role of a hunter against vampires!
Players must work together to complete 10 different missions, with 10 different maps, (made using the included modular maps tiles), using many powerful weapons and their special abilities.
Stay together to increase your attack and defense strength, be precise, be strong, but most of all be fast, because the night is coming.
In Vhunters, each player is always active during the game, thanks to the innovative system of artificial intelligence that controls the vampires.
