Yes, yes, yes. I know that March is basically over. April will be here... well... Friday. But it just means that if you didn't know about the books released for Shadowrun and Battletech the other day, you can just run yourself out and get it. Also, you can get your finances in order for all the things releasing in April. And trust me, there's a lot.

New Releases for December from Catalyst Game Labs

Catalyst Game Labs doing much to diversify the games that they offer. Take, for example, this month's releases that they just posted. On one side you've got Wrath of Dragons. On the other, you have Shadowrun: Crossfire - High Caliber Ops. Yup, a bit of a difference there, but that's half the fun.

Catalyst Game Labs Releases Beta Version of Combat Manual: Mercenaries for Battletech

It's always pretty cool when game companies get their players involved in the game-making system. Even if you have a couple dozen playtesters for a game, there's always the chance that something can be missed. So letting a rules set go to a public beta can make it so thousands of people look over the rules. Catalyst Game Labs has done that for Combat Manual: Mercenaries, the first in a new line of sourcebooks for Alpha Strike.

Catalyst Game Labs Posts MechWarrior Primer pdf

With the new MechWarrior game coming out from Harebrained Schemes, there's a new and revived interest in the world. Lord knows I love Mechs, and MechWarrior in-particular. It could easily be said that MechWarrior 2 was my gateway into gaming. I'd played various video games up to that point, but it was really the one that I got really involved in. With all the new interest, there's plenty of new gamers getting introduced to the Battletech universe. And with such a rich and storied gaming universe that's been around for so long, it might be hard to figure out what all has been happening.

BattleTech Technical Readouts: 3145 & 3150 Print Preorder/PDFs Available from Catalyst Game Labs

If there was one video game I've enjoyed playing the most, it'd probably be Mechwarrior 2. While I might've played Diablo II more, I really think Mechwarrior 2 is the one I had the most fun with. As such, I've always had a love of Battletech stuff. Though, sad to say, I've never actually played the tabletop game, itself. I did a brief stint with the Dark Age version that WizKids put out. I really should look into the game more. And Catalyst Game Labs is here to help with some new Technical readouts.

Catalyst Game Labs Posts Wrath of Dragons Rules Online

In games, you get to take on the persona of someone else. This isn't just reserved to RPGs, but basically any game. You're the survivor of a zombie attack, or you're the high command in charge of a squad of sci-fi soldiers, or you're the town planner for a village. Well, in Wrath of Dragons from Catalyst Game Labs, you get to be a dragon. How cool is that? I know I'd want to be a dragon if I could be a dragon. Wouldn't you want to be a dragon?

Chrome Flesh now available for PDF purchase and print pre-order

All of us have things we'd like to do, or have done, to alter how we look and are capable of. Whether you work out, get tattoos, or even just pierce your ears, there's things we do that can shape how we're perceived or the various abilities we have. Well, in the world of Shadowrun, there's a lot more options for body modification. Granted, since it's all futuristic and stuff, it's a bit more elaborate than what's available now.

New Data Trails Sourcebook for ShadowRun Available

Greetings Program! I always did like the idea of going into a computer, into the internet and just flying around inside of it. Movies like Tron and Lawnmower Man (don't laugh. I liked that movie) and TV shows like Futurama (where they go into the internet) have always been fascinating to me. I'm hoping that we get to that point sometime relatively soon. Well, the latest sourcebook for Shadowrun is right up my alley, since Catalyst Game Labs takes you to the Matrix with their new Data Trails sourcebook.
