Carrying cases

It has been a busy week.
Work has been full of time working on (redacted). I can't wait until I can tell you all about it. Other than that, I'm making pizza tonight. And by that, I mean I made my own sauce from scratch, and the dough ball that will be the crust is currently in the fridge, slowly rising. It'll be brought out when I get home. The only thing I didn't do was cure my own bacon, grind my own Italian sausage, or make my own mozzarella cheese... though I could possibly do those first two, and might at some point. And as for tomorrow, it's Board Game Day at the Milton Library, where I'll be playing Guild Ball and Fujian Trader. Hopefully you have your own gaming plans lined up. With all that going on, it's best to load up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: Ancestral Ruins Bases 20x20mm and 25x25mm Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Arcane Arts gets a face lift, Zen Bins Destiny Storage Trays Up On Kickstarter, Titan-forge Launches Dragon Empire Kickstarter, More Info Posted About Trollkins Indiegogo Campaign, New Ultimate Barrage Template from Pyrkol, Desert Basing Kit Available From Gale Force Nine, Khurasan releases Oceanic Republic NF range, and New Weekend Promo from Kromlech.

We're halfway there, everyone. Midway point of the week. The weekend's coming ever-closer. Hopefully you have some sort of gaming plans scheduled. I mean, it's the weekend. Don't want to just be sitting at home doing nothing (though, actually, there's something to be said about that from time to time, too). Well, no matter what you do, we need to finish up this week first. So let's get some energy via bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Brigade Models Release Updated Japanese Aeronef, Black Earth 28mm tabletop wargame launches on IndieGoGo in February, Purgatory is entering the final 2 weeks of Pledge Manager, Krakon Games Kickstart their Scum & Smuggler characters, Latest Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, New Legionary Releases From Kromlech, Ludus Magnus Studio Announces Sine Tempore Board Game, Tabletop Tyrant Miniatures Cases Up On Kickstarter, New Releases Available From Victoria Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm T-64BV Tank, and Hardwood deck boxes with Illuminated artwork on Kickstarter.

How's everyone doing today? Ready for the weekend? I think I'm gonna keep mine rather chill, just putting together the last of my friend's Guild Ball stuff. They're already assembled. They just need greenstuff work done on 'em (filling in some small gaps, filling in the base slots, stuff like that). Other than that... not much. Plan for Thanksgiving, I guess.

But as for right now, it's time to nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: New D&D Icons of the Realms Miniatures Starter Set Now Available, Steamforged Previews Steamcon/Black Friday Sale, Confrontation Evolution Fan-Made Rules Posted, Wamp releases Master of Roots Bust, Ever wonder what Kriegsspiel Dice looked like?, Super Chibi Round 2 - Reboot Late Pledges now open, Final Days for Portable Paint Station On Kickstarter, New Numidian Infantry Available From Victrix, Spot It! Dobble Coming Next Year, New Releases Available From Hitech Miniatures, German Language Version of Thunderbirds Board Game Up On Spiele-Offensive, and Kromlech New Release: Human Skulls.

Not sure why, but this week's been a time enigma. I woke up this morning going, "wow, already Wednesday!" But since I've been here at the office, it's been the exact opposite. "How is it only 10am? I feel like I've been here forever!" What might help is noshing on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today in the platter we have: Brigade Models New Release Update, New Ammunition Chain Sets From Tabletop-Art, Victoria Miniatures Female Victorian Guard Now Available, Motherland Tokens now available from Advanced Deployment, Dek-Den: Deck Building Game Assistant On Kickstarter, Aenor Miniatures First Releases Now Available, Terrible Kids Stuff releases Goblin Shaman, Kromlech New Release: Legionary Heavy Thunder Gun with Heavy Flamer, Khurasan releases Tah-sig (non-humanoid alien) range, Ulisses Spiele GmbH To Take Over Publishing Fading Suns RPG, and 25x50mm flat bases Now available From Tabletop-Art.

And we have the week continuing along. Seems this one's going rather slowly, if you asked me. Earlier today, I looked at the clock and went, "How is it only just after 10am? I've been here in the office for the past 17 hours!" Note: I'd not actually been here 17 hours at that point. Just seemed like it. Perhaps snacking on some bite-sized gaming stories will help out.

Today on the platter we have: Krakon Games Running Frills & Fauna Kickstarter, Gioconomicon Posts Photos From Spiel 2016, On Target Green & Red Lasers For Line of Sight On Kickstarter, Mojo Tray System: Modular Transport On Kickstarter, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff - First half of October 2016, New Condition Markers, Melee Widgets and Base Inserts from Advanced Deployment, The Roots of Magic: Students of Sorcery Kickstarter coming in November, Divine Art Playing Cards Relaunched on Kickstarter, and Devils Dungeon Kickstarter - Milestone Unlocked.

Wednesday already? This week sure seems to be moving along. That's very much not a complaint, mind you. I've got board game day coming up this Saturday. We're also going to be starting our new D&D game. So I'm very much ready for it to be Saturday. But if I want to keep up this pace, I'd better refuel on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: New female Torsos and First BFG Sledgehammer Pics From Victoria Miniatures, Suede Dice Bags Up On Kickstarter, Purgatory Miniatures Up On Kickstarter, Impact! Miniatures Running Chibi Knights of the Dinner Table Kickstarter, Legionary APC Turret Lascannon With Twin Plasma Gun Available From Kromlech, Ruins of Sanctuary 25mm Bases Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Minis Production Company Up On Kickstarter, Prism: Day & Dusk Playing Cards Up On Kickstarter, HSD Anthro Sci-Fi Miniatures Now Available, Flatminis releases first monsters in their 2D miniatures range, Two More APC Turrets Available From Kromlech, and The Army Painter's 9th Anniversary Sale Happening Now.

If you went to Gen Con and you play Guild Ball, you had a chance to pick up your Season II mascots while at the show. I know I picked up a Wrecker and a Tentacles while there. Well, if you didn't go to the show, your own wait for the release of most of the Season II mascots is over. Four of them are now available over in the Steamforged webshop, along with a new carrying case.
So, I have made it to Indianapolis for Gen Con.
And I'm sitting in my hotel room, sorting e-mails, replying to e-mails, and typing up these posts. I hope you all appreciate it. ;) :P
Anyway, seeing as it is Wednesday (though it certainly doesn't feel like it, at least to me), it's time for some midweek snippets. I know I need to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories before the hurricane of activity that'll happen over the next several days.

On the platter today is: Sasquatch Game Studio announces Alternity science-fiction roleplaying game, Dized Board Game Companion App to be at Gen Con, Deadman Diaries a new gamebook from Cubus Games, Victory Point Games Previews Upcoming Kickstarter - Planet Rush by Reiner Knizia, Sharknado Board Game Coming To Kickstarter August 13th, Heavy Metal by Acheson Creations is Funded and with a new pledge level, Entries now being accepted for the 2016 Windhammer Prize, Tabletop Miniatures Solutions Running Undying Armies Indiegogo Campaign, War Co. Coming To Kickstarter August 15th, D13 and D15 debut from Impact! at Gen Con, Hitech Miniatures Releases NoeProspector Virgilius, TinMan 35% Off "Back In Business" Sale Happening Now, and New Marian Romans From Xyston Miniatures.

Hey everyone.
Well, I'm back home again. What? You didn't realize I wasn't sitting in the office as usual this week? That's because TGN is always in my heart and I take it wherever I go.
... ... I also have a laptop and can basically work from anywhere with an internet connection. :P
Anyway, travel can really take the energy out of you, so let's stock back up with some bite-size gaming stories.

Today we have: Wander Reaches Funding Goal Adds Rayna as Add-On, Mage Company Kickstarter Program 16', Dungeon Explore 3D printable Card Tray From Maker Games, and Khurasan releases more 15mm sci fi cars.

It's a hive of activity here in the office. We've got a lot of extra people in the office in town for the Expo this weekend. And it sounds like they're building something in the warehouse (which is right behind my desk). Everything for the show is in "Final check" phase. That means utter chaos, of course, but in a good way. :P
In the meantime, let's fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories, shall we?

Today we have: Rotten Factory Miniatures - Rise of the Dark Power On Wspieram, Totentanz Miniatures Tercio May releases Posted, Last 5 Days For Aether Captains on Kickstarter, New Ancestral Ruin 32mm and 40mm base deals from Tabletop-Art, Junk Spirit Games announces By Order of the Queen, Dark Siren Available Now From Kabuki Models, Load Board Game Coming To Kickstarter Soon, 15mm WW2 and Vietnam Passenger Trays Available From Dark Art Miniatures, A new design appears From Red Panda Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm Soviet T-64B, Brigade Models Release 15mm Neo-Soviet Conscripts, Final Day For Aeon's End Up On Kickstarter, Hope Board Game Coming To Kickstarter June 9th, and Cross promotion between Fragged Empire and FAITH: The Sci-Fi RPG.

When hanging out at the LGS, whether it’s during a tourney or just going between games, we all have various ways of transporting our armies from one spot to another. Some people put their figs back into the foam trays or tackle box they came out of. Though that can be really time-consuming. Others will just toss their figures on the back of a rulebook. But your figures can slide and fall off. Some just grab them and move them over to the next table a handful at a time. But your models can bend or break and your paint can chip. Others get custom trays for moving around minis. It’s one of those that I’m looking at today.

Arkee Dan gave me one of these trays at Adepticon to try out and let you know my thoughts on.

So buckle yourselves in, it’s time for another TGN Review. This time it’s The Guildmate Tray from Tectonic Craft Studios.
Ok, everyone, we're progressing along at a nice, steady pace through the week. We can keep this up. We can manage to continue this direction and speed and the weekend will be here before we know it. But we should stock up on energy. A great way to do that is via some bite-sized gaming stories. Good thing that's just what we have for you now.

Today's snippets include: New Tokens and Scoreboard Available From Advanced Deployment, Guild Ball Bag Standard Load Out Available From Battle Foam, Rebel Minis Releases 28mm Unarmed Civilians, Brigade Models Release New 15mm vehicles, Bombshell Miniatures launches KritterKins Kickstarter, Final Days For The Vampire, the Elf and the Cthulhu On Kickstarter, and Last three days for 25% off with intro deal At EZPainter.

Saturday. Ah, the joy of it. Just drink it in.
I'm taking a break from putting together some Guild Ball models in order to get you your weekly Review Roundup (you can expect the Guild Ball review in the near future from me). So let's get you right to it.

This week we have: Plastic Soldier Company's Panzer IV, Slaughterball, Feldmaster Magnetic Army Carry Case, Runebound Third Edition, Zombie Tower 3D, WWE Superstar Showdown, Kemet: Ta-Seti, Arboretum, Fool’s Gold, and Strife: Shadows and Steam.

We're getting there, people. We're getting there. The weekend is damn-near here. I've got a couple Guild Ball teams to put together. It's so close that our friends over in Australia are already there. Hello people in the future! How's the weekend starting out? Good, I hope. My you're up late.

Anyway, whether you're enjoying a midnight snack, some dinner (for those in, say, England), or an afternoon snack (those here in the Eastern part of the US), now's a good time for some bite-sized stories.

In this installment of Snippets we have: Win a C'thu Dice Bag From Tor Gaming, Fate of Akalon: Tribes Returning To Kickstarter Next Week, New Legionaries Vibro Talons Available From Kromlech, New 15mm Sci-Fi Minis Up On Kickstarter, Khurasan releases more 15mm Mutant Supersoldiers, Pacific Coast Creative Publishing To Release Age of the Wizard Lords RPG, DayTrippers Golden Age Coming Leap Day, and Counterblast Hero Builder Beta v.1 Available.

Well, as Lynyrd Skynyrd said, Tuesday's gone. That, of course, means we've moved on to Wednesday. Woo! We're halfway through the week! Always a good feeling that. The weekend is getting closer every minute. Before we get there, though, we need to serve up some bite-sized stories we've come across in the past couple days.

Well, while it seems like we dodged one bullet here in Georgia the other day, only getting some rain. It's looking tonight like we might get a bit of accumulated precipitation. Though considering tomorrow it's supposed to get to 38 and the day after it's supposed to be sunny and 51, I'm not really worried about it.
I can't really say the same for the rest of GA. They seem like they're going freaking nuts. But waddyagonnado?
I'm just looking forward to tomorrow when I'm getting my next tattoo. *squee with excitement!*

Before then, though, we need to get you some bite-sized stories. So let's go ahead and do that.

As we hunker down here for what could potentially be the first major winter weather event here in Atlanta (in which the temperatures are supposed to be above freezing, except for an hour or so, I'm not really expecting much of an issue here. Though the Northeast looks like it needs to brace itself), we think about what we could be doing with all that potential time spent huddled in our homes, unable to go out. So how about some gaming! Seems like a perfect time. So we've gathered together some bite-sized gaming stories for you to snack on.

Today's stories include: Prime Battlewalker Arms Available From Puppets War, House of Borgia Coming to Kickstarter, Blood Rage Foam Trays Available From Battle Foam, New Iron Reich Orc Taskmaster with Gnaw Hound Available From Kromlech, and New Biomechanic Heads Available From Tabletop-Art.

This first full week of the new year went by really fast for me. Did it go by fast for you? Though I'm sitting here in my Friday shirt, I was still a bit surprised when I looked and saw, "Oh, hey, it's time to schedule up Friday Snippets. ... I thought it was, like, Tuesday or something."

Hey everyone,
I hope you made it through Black Friday alright. I had Thanksgiving 2: Thank Harder here at the bear den. Made myself another turkey and side-dishes and enjoyed a relaxing day. Then I got out my stock pot and made about a gallon of turkey stock with the bones. I'll be good for turkey soup for the next year, I'd say.

But that's as may be, it's time for some reviews. Let's get into it.

Today we have articles on: Magic the Gathering Arena of the Planeswalkers, Dirty Tactics Toolbox for Pathfinder, Battle Foam P.A.C.K Molle Accessories, Mafia de Cuba, Porta Nigra, Risk: Star Wars 2015 Edition, Flip City, Xia: Legends of the Drift System, and Doomtown Reloaded.

A lot of you will be hopefully getting minis this holiday season. I know I've had quite a few holidays where there were minis gifted to me. Those minis gotta be transported around properly. Battle Foam is here to help with that, and they're having their own Black Friday sale.
Hello everyone and welcome to Sunday. It's the start of my favorite week. Thanksgiving is coming up and I simply can't wait. Sure, you may have your favorite holiday as Halloween or Christmas or Australia Day or whatever, and those are certainly all fine holidays. For me? It's Thanksgiving. I only wish I had access to a professional kitchen.

But anyway, that's Thursday. Currently, it's Sunday. That means a few bite-sized stories to bring to you.

Today's batch includes: 28mm Fantasy Rock Army On Indiegogo, Khurasan releases 22nd Century Range, Nexus Miniatures Prize Draw Happening Now, Custom Handmade Dice Bags Up On Etsy, and Geek Fever’s Black Friday Crowd Sale is LIVE.
