The folks over working on Breachstorm are looking to add even more factions to the game. Of course, adding just anything would possibly unbalance the game. Best to thoroughly test everything before it becomes official. As such, they're launching Project Blacksmyth that will fulfill both goals. New factions will be released as beta test rules. You, the players, can test them out, give feedback, and things can be altered before the official release.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. It's good words to live by. With a little extra work and retooling, the thing that wasn't going your way before can do so with some extra effort. And that's what's going on with the Breachstorm: Reloaded Kickstarter. Their first campaign for it wasn't working out. So they regrouped and have relaunced and this new campaign's already over its funding goal.
Breachstorm is coming back to Kickstarter in 1 month's time. Starting August 16th, this new campaign will be looking to add a new faction to the game, as well as expanding on current factions. They're also looking to make pledging easier, getting rid of complex pledge levels for a more a-la carte format.

The sci-fi miniaturs game, Breachstorm, is looking to get a new faction. They're called the Volucrid Host, and they're nasty. I mean, they're giant bugs. That's kinda gross. Who wants bugs all over everywhere? This new faction will hopefully be funded when they hit Kickstarter at the end of next month.
