New Releases From Ares Games Available At Spiel Essen

Only only ever really been to a handful of different shows. All of them only in the US as well. I'd love to make it to events like Salute, or Spiel Essen. Both seem like awesome shows, full of some cool, new things. Speaking of Essen and new things. Ares Games will be in attendance and they'll have some games that will be available for the first time at the show. So hopefully you've got your tickets to the show, or know someone that can ninja-shop for you.

Review Roundup

And we've once more made it to the weekend successfully. The natural order has been maintained. I mean, just think if we woke up the day after Friday and it was, like, Wednesday or something. Man, that'd be a mess. But, as I said, that's not happened. As such, we should get on with the regular Saturday routine and get you some reviews.

Ares Games Posts Gen Con Pre-Releases

Ares Games will be in Indy in a week for Gen Con. Hopefully, you will be, too (I will be). If you're a fan of their games, you'll want to stop by their booth. Heck, even if you're not a fan of their current games (no game is going to please every gamer), you'll want to stop by, since they have several new games they'll be releasing at the show.

Ares Games Posts Behind The Throne Rulebook

As I've said many times, I love when companies post the rules for their games online. That way, you get a chance to look them over and decide if the game's for you. It makes you a more-informed consumer. It also shows respect to you, as the game company isn't going to try and "trick you" by making you think a game is one thing when it's really another. Well, Ares Games certainly doesn't want to trick you about Behind the Throne. They've posted up the rules for you to download.
