Artipia Games

No, it's not a game about Geddy Lee diagnosing your stomach pains. Let's just get that out of the way.

I used to work in a hospital. And, yeah, it can be a really hectic, crazy place. When something goes wrong, there's usually only seconds to help out in these very real life-and-death scenarios. Thankfully, in Rush M.D., you're not actually holding someone's life in your hands, but you still need to be able to make split-second decisions in this real-time, cooperative game. It's up on Kickstarter now.

Life is full of a lot of things that happen to you all the time. From little thing to big things, these experiences shape us into who we are. And that's what the Experiences expansion for The Pursuit of Happiness gives you, a lot more things that can possibly happen in your game-life. The Kickstarter campaign for the expansion is happening now.

The future is not set in stone. It can be changed and altered depending on what we do now in the present. If someone had the ability to look into the future, they could perhaps alter their path in order to change things. That's what is going on in A Thief's Fortune, a new card game up on Kickstarter from Artipia Games. Which path will lead the thief to safety? And which of you is the real one to begin with?

CMON and Artipia Games are joining together to release a new version of Project: ELITE. The game, first released in 2016, is getting a bit of an update, with rules changes suggested over the past couple years by players, new artwork, and new figures from Mike McVey. The Kickstarter campaign for the new edition will come Q4 this year, with the retail release sometime next year.
Artipia Games will be returning this August to Kickstarter to relaunch their A Thief's Fortune card game. In the game, players take on aspects of the same thief. There's many potential paths for what might happen to them, but only one will create the "best timeline" of events. Create your best life, coming back to Kickstarter on the 14th of August.
You've had your appetizer, soup, and main course. But I hope you've left some room for dessert!
That's where you're headed with Kitchen Rush: Piece of Cake, the new expansion from Artipia Games. It introduces dessert orders, as well as fruit and creme ingredients, plus the special ice cream scoop token. You can find it up on Kickstarter now.
Hello, Saturday. How are you? I'm alright. Still a little sick. Bit of a lingering cough, but I'm working through it. So no gaming will be had by me today (I'm actually just contemplating a nap). But I hope that your Saturday is a bit more exciting than what I've got going on.
At the very least, though, before I take another shot of medicine and go lay down, I gotta make sure you get those reviews you so desperately desire.

This week we have: Museum Heist, Race for the Galaxy iOS Expansions, Battle for Rokugan, Yogi, The Pursuit of Happiness: Community Expansion, Bubblee Pop, XCOM: Evolution Expansion, Dicetopia, Hot Shots, NewSpeak, Dragonfire, Codenames: Duet, Outpost Siberia, and Mage Wars Academy Warlord and Forcemaster Expansions.

With just a couple days left in 2017, AEG has updated their website with a look at some recent and upcoming releases. Looking for a way to spend that holiday money or just trying to find a new game to play in the new year? Check these out. There's a little bit of something for everyone.

Saturday! Saturday! Saturday!
Saturday! Saturday! Saturday!
Saturday! Saturday! Saturday night's alright!
Ok, so it's not actually Saturday night yet, but it will be soon (well, for me. Some of you are already well into Saturday night. Bloody time zones). Anyway, I know what you want. You want some reviews. So let's get to it.

Today we have: Package, Zombicide Black Plague, GAMEMAT EU's Battle Mats, Sprue Grey: Wargame Hobby Magazine - The Golden D6 Tutorial Issue, D-Day at Omaha Beach, The Walking Dead: All Out War, Beer Empire, The Undercity, Haspelknecht, Pursuit of Happiness, Dracula’s Feast, Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small iOS, Agricola: Family Edition, Dwarf War, and Get Rich Quick.

I'm a city boy, through and through. However, my dad's side of the family, up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, did introduce me to the more agricultural living side of things. I've had days feeding cows, or collecting pheasant chicks to make sure they were healthy, and other such like that. Not really sure the lifestyle is totally for me. What is for me, though, is gaming. And Artipia Games is giving all of us city slickers a chance to live out days on the farm vicariously through Fields of Green, up on Kickstarter now.
Hey there everyone,
We've made it to Saturday, so that once again means it's time for a Review Roundup. A bit lighter this week than usual. I'm sure that's due to Gen Con last weekend. I expect, though, that the next couple weeks will be pretty full of new reviews. I know several reviewers were getting copies of the new CMON games, at least.

Also: We're looking into what's up with the TGN Blogs page. We'll let you know when we find out anything.

Anyway, as for today, we've got: Battle of the Bands, Get Adler, Super Hack Override, Beneath Nexus, Legends of Andor New Heroes Expansion, Warmachine Cephalyx Mind Slaver & Drudges, Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition, Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu, Tyrants of the Underdark, Animals On Board, Farmageddon: Farm Fresh Edition, and Stellar Conflict.

Dice City... sounds like a paradise (paradice?) for a gamer... or an alternate name for Vegas. But really, it's a new game that AEG has just announced. In the game, the Queen of Rolldovia has decided that the wants a new capital for her country, and you're the ones who are going to build it for her. You must use your resources as heads of the noble houses in order to grow the city. However, it's the people and the Queen who will decide whether you've done a good job or not.
Artipia Games is in their final hours on Kickstarter for Project: ELITE. And by "Final Hours" I really mean just a couple left to go. Sometimes you see someone say "final hours" and it's like "final 1000 hours." But this is not the case here. Final hours is 3.5 hours left to go (at time of posting). The campaign has come a long way, having made more than 6x their funding goal and unlocking a lot of stretch goals and getting some add-ons thrown in as well.
Artipia Games' Project: Elite has made more than 4x their funding goal over on Kickstarter. They've made it through various stretch goals, but this one's a biggie. Backers can now add the Adrenaline expansion to their pledge. There's new heroes, new monsters, new maps, and new objectives. And it's not just the things in the box that are new, but there are reference cards to make some of the monsters from the original game a bit new, with different options in how to run them.
Artipia Games has launched their Kickstarter campaign for Project: ELITE, their new real-time sci-fi board game. A game of Projet: ELITE takes just 30-45min. The game consists of numerous 2-minute rounds where players must decide between defeating aliens or completing objectives. You don't have a lot of time to sit and debate. You've got to go! Go! Go! The game is a cooperative affair for 1-4 players. The campaign is already over their funding goal, so it's on to stretch goals for the next 25 days.

From the campaign:
Artipia Games is running a Kickstarter for Lap Dance (CinemaSins can't ding this one for not having one), their new card game.
And there's no nudity, but it may not be the best thing to be looking over at workplaces. But I think the above photo should be alright.

From the campaign:

Lap Dance is a game designed by Anastasios Grigoriadis and Panagiotis Tsirogiannis. In Lap Dance, 2-4 adult players compete in getting the job position of "Club Manager" in the most prestigious strip club in town. To achieve that, they will need to make sure each customer walking in to the club leaves with a big smile on their face. Each customer has different desires (Dancers, Drinks and various Luxuries) and places a number of orders. Players try to fulfill those orders as well as possible. To achieve that, every player has access to different dancers, drinks and luxuries as well as the help of a personal assistant. If things get rough, favors can be asked from other Staff members of the club.

The Game has been marked as 18+ only because of its theme. It contains no nudity. The artwork is limited to sexy outfits.

Artipia Games has launched a Kickstarter in order to fund an expansion for their Among the Stars game. The expansion's called The Ambassadors.

From the campaign:

After a devastating war, peace is declared among all the major races of the galaxy and an Alliance is created to face mutual threats. One of the first decisions of the Alliance is to build immense space stations all along the galaxy in order to promote trade among the allies, strengthen diplomatic relations and help keep the newly established peace.

Each player takes the role of one of those races, trying to build the best space station.

Among the Stars was published in 2012 and released in the same year at the Spiel exhibition in Essen, Germany. The game was designed by Vangelis Bagiartakis and was very well received by the board game community.

Among the Stars is a new board game over on IndieGoGo. Check it out and maybe pledge a couple of bucks.
