From my experience, most gamers are completionists, myself included. If a game comes out, you want -everything- for that game. Expansions, extras, LEs, everything. Sometimes, it can be rough to try and keep up. For example, Apex has had a bunch of expansions come out. What if you're behind? Where will you find them? Well, right here. Apex: Collected Edition has the base game and all the expansions available as part of the campaign. Great for those that need to catch up, or those that are looking to dive into the deepend in this deck-building game.

We're halfway there, ladies and gentlemen. Halfway to the weekend. If you haven't started making plans, now would be a good time. For those of you in the US, the 4th of July is Saturday. I'm sure cookouts will abound. And if you're at one, why not bring along a game or two to play? There's plenty of party games that would be most welcome at just about any gathering.
For me? I'm going to keep things low-key this weekend. I had two rather busy weekends in a row. So this weekend I'm going to stay at home and cook. What am I going to cook? ... I've not figured that out yet. Suggestions would be welcome (and any accompanying recipes also welcome).

But as for right now, it's time for some bite-sized stories.

This batch includes: Fury is funded with 24 day left, Some More Installments of The Fiver from The Meeple Mechanic, New 32mm Resin bases (Tomb, Urban & Sci-fi Deck) from Dark Art Miniatures, Armorcast's 4th Annual Cinematic Effects Contest is Here, Apex TDBG Expansion Kickstarter is now EU Friendly, Club Fantasci Editorial: Kickstarter Press Releases and Free Promotion, Old Dominion Gameworks posts Post Captain Bonus Ship files, Vending Bot free for July at The Ion Age, and Bullets & Brains Tokens Now Available from Sally 4th.

Apex is the card game where you look to prove that you're the biggest, baddest, most adaptive predator out there. They're currently running a Kickstarter campaign for some new expansions. You've got new types of creatures, as well as the new Stomping Grounds set that lets you try and takes your enemies out PvP-style. Only the fittest will survive.
It's what I'd call a perfect Atlanta Winter's day here today. Not cold, but cool. Some fog hanging around here and there. No wind. Just a nice, pleasant day.
Also sounds like a great day to make some gumbo, but that's for later.

In the meantime, here's some of the shorter stories we found for you these past couple days that we wanted you to know about.

In this batch we have: Sally 4th Terra Blocks – Terra City One Release One, New Map Sets from Heroic Maps, Von Rotte Artillery Crew released for Flintloque, Brewin' USA Board Game on Kickstarter, Arcane Dragon released for ArcWorlde, APEX is released to retailers via Peachstate Hobby Distribution, New Ninja All-Stars previews, Relic Knights/Super Dungeon Explore Cross-over cards previewed, New Female Corporal by Brother Vinni, Fornax Galaxy Previews Centurion Sculpts, Balls to the Wall - A Classic Flintloque Scenario, Brigade Models - New 10mm SF Buildings, and Two new 55mm bases from Micro Art Studio.
Apex is a new deck-building game over on Kickstarter where you're trying to create the greatest dinosaur predator ever.
Yes, I find that ridiculously awesome.

From the campaign:

Apex is a dinosaur deck-building game where you play as one of five apex predators competing for territory. Each playable apex predator has their own style deck that you must master to succeed with that dinosaur. Apex is a very brutal environment and the game will try and kill you throughout. The goal is not only to survive but to dominate the competition, literally. You must fight off other competing predators to control territories and win. The game will feature 50+ dinosaurs and 8+ territories with each territory having it's own territorial boss that you must defeat to dominate the territory. The game supports 1-5+ players which means it is designed to play by yourself or with up to four friends (stretch goals increase player count). The game is huge and requires large play space to play up to five players. The game is also very complex but easy to pick up on and keep track of everyone's move.
