Steve Jackson Games’ Ogre was one of my first forays into gaming. I remember cutting apart the little chits from the “VHS Box” version of the game. Heck, my screen name for a while was OgreMkV on various media. I know it’s been a big part of many other gamers’ lives. Well, Steve Jackson is looking to continue support for the setting via the Ogrezine, a collection of Ogre articles. The project is up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Ogrezine will be a collection of Ogre articles curated by Drew Metzger. This is a further test of support for Ogre on Kickstarter, as well as an excuse to create some short articles for all Ogre players. If it goes well, it might even become an annual thing.
This is our smallest Kickstarter ever, depending on wide support at $3 per person – though reward levels are also available for those who want to pick up some additional Ogre swag, like the miniatures.
All the articles will be released publicly online, one every couple of weeks (with a holiday break). When they are all done, we’ll create a PDF of them all and send it to supporters. The PDF will be available for sale on warehouse23.com.
The campaign is more than 5x funded with still 14 days left to go.
