The Hunter’s Guild is the “new” full team on the block for Guild Ball. Sure, we’ve got Tater for the Farmer’s Guild, but he’s just one guy. The Hunters are the newest full team to hit the pitch. But that doesn’t mean that they aren’t getting some tweaks in Season 3. Even things freshly-released can use some updates. This time around, we get a look at my personal favorite Guild Ball player, Seenah.
Seenah only had a couple changes, but they’re somewhat significant. First is the general change that everyone got: there’s only one Icy Sponge token on their damage track. Next up, Bear Hug’s language got cleaned up. Instead of having a special rule on the back that said you get an extra VP by taking someone out with it, it’s all right there on the front. Very handy. The playbook also got a small change. The 7th column is gone, meaning you can wrap more easily. The bear’s special abilities mostly stayed the same. There’s still Tough Hide and Furious, and the loss of the Mob Favorite, since it’s now just a part of Bear Hug. There’s one big change, though. Intimidating Roar will let you push one model in melee range of the bear 2″ directly away. That’s pretty big, as it can open up so Seenah can now get a charge they might not have been able to otherwise.
I, for one, love the changes I’ve seen, in general, to the figures coming in Season 3.
