Steam is one of the most important things on Earth. Just think of all we've accomplished with steam. From moving mountains to just cooking dinner. And remember, anything that runs via a nuclear reactor technically runs on steam. So it's no surprise that steam has its own fandom and games that fit into that fandom. Such a game as Steam Court, a new trick-taking game that has relaunched over on Kickstarter.
In the game, players are given a random role in "the court." Each of these has a unique ability to them. Then, players are dealt a hand of gears cards. From there, players play cards, looking to take tricks by playing cards of the same number together, but playing a higher number than the previous player. Players are looking to collect victory point cards from these plays. Highest VP total at the end wins.
The campaign is underway now and is already more than 3x funded. It's set to run for another 17 days.
