Many of us love Star Wars and Star Trek. But all of us know that the actions depicted on-screen don't really depict what space combat would be like. And the minis games based on those series really leave out a lot of the intricacies of the combat, such as momentum and elevation. This isn't for your one-man craft or other small ships. This is big battleship-sized-ships scaled. It's also a game of maneuver and position. As you'd expect, getting clear, full broadsides aren't going to be something that'll happen too often. Sure, you'll totally obliterate an enemy ship if you do manage it, but it's something you'll be trying to set up for a while.
