Everyone loves get-togethers and showing off the photos that they've taken on their phone or tablet or what-have-you. It's the old family slide-show, but fewer pea-green leisure suits and scary uncles. Well, Pic me! Games has turned those times into a new party card game. Snaption's the name and it's up on Kickstarter now.
In the game, players draw cards that have a bit of a phrase on them with a blank space, sort of like Mad-Libs. Then, the judge for the round shows off a photo from their collection (it doesn't have to be on their phone or tablet, but let's face it, these days you're going to be carrying around them on your phone). Players then use the cards and stickers to fill in the blank on their card and pass them, face-down, to the judge. Then the judge reads over the cards and picks a winner (so Apples to Apples like in that fashion).
The campaign is a little more than 3/4 funded and there's just under two weeks to get in on it.
