It has been a long time, but I used to play the trumpet. I played all through middle school, high school, and into college. In all those years, though, I never had to play in a musical. I've never been big on musicals... except Blues Brothers... and Rocky Horror... and Willy Wonka... Ok, so maybe I'm more into musicals than I thought. I have a feeling I'd be into Shenanigans: The Musical, a new card game up on Kickstarter, though.
The game is a hidden information and bluffing game for 4-10 players. Everyone gets a secret role card that they must play. The win condition for the game differs depending on which character you are. The overall object is for the Manager to throw out the Artiste (because they're the one that can't play their instrument and is messing up the show). The Artiste wants anyone else to be thrown out. And as I mentioned, the other players have their own win conditions. Lie your way into making sure the person you want is thrown out.
The campaign is up on Kickstarter now. They're about 1/4 of the way to their goal with still 28 days to go.
