Sedition Wars by Mike McVey is doing swimmingly over on Kickstarter. They’re already 4x their funding level and still headed up. Their next goal is $100k. If they get there, here’s what you get:

From the campaign:

If we hit this stretch, every game will get a horrific alternate sculpt of a Phase 1 Strain model. If you didn’t have a reason to keep firing before, you sure do now!

This is another game I’d urge people to support. I’ve been play testing this for months and months now, and I’ve watched it evolve into a really good solid game. It’s already smashed so many targets, but the more we give the better the product will get.

Also thanks to Mike McVey, when my Blog gets to 625 followers I’ll be giving readers of my Blog a chance to win the game. thanks Mike!!! 🙂

Are you playing with the alpha rules available here?

I am just about to read through them, but was wondering if they have anything more recent.

Love the look of the game and minis, and will probably jump in on it in the next day or so.

Nope. I’ve been playtesting it for Mike. The rules have moved on significantly since the Alpha rules. Rob Baxter has done a great job.

Good to know. I went in for the Biohazard level. Looking forward to the fall!

Thats you and me both. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the finished product for months.

I went in for “We’ve got Movement!”. That’s like a double Biohazard.

It’s amazing to see that all the pledge levels above $350 were sold out. It looks like they added 5 new pledges at $1505 for the painted sets to meet some of the demand.

I am pretty envious of the 3 backers who get to have dinner with Mike and Rob at GenCon! 🙂

Sitting at about 98k right now, so should break into the next stretch goal before too long. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but I think there is a very good chance I will jump in at the Biohazard level before it’s all done.

I’m curious to see all the benefits of the stretch goals over the next month. Although I doubt we’ll see the insane numbers that Zombiecide produced, I do think this game has the potential to have a very large end result for it’s Kickstarter….which will mean lots of nice upgrades for the supporters.
