I've not really paid much attention to pop culture in the past several years. I've had my focus too far in gamer culture, specifically. I know the two are crossing paths more and more as more superhero movies are made and such. But are Hipsters still a thing? You know, only liking retro stuff and spurning anything newer than 30 years old? Well, you don't have to be a hipster to like things from "way back," if you ask me. Such as with RuneQuest. That game's been around since 1978, and the 2nd edition of it has been out of print for over 30 years. Well, it's back and up on Kickstarter now.
This is the 2nd edition of the game. The only changes are various errata updates that'd been made. So if that's the version you want, that's the version you'll get. No extra-tampering. They've also got other, supplemental material that was released for that version available, including player handouts, GM screen, and scenario books.
The campaign is over 3x funded and deep into stretch goals. It's set to run for another 15 days if you want to get some retro-gaming action going.
