There's a lot of reasons that a person might cancel their Kickstarter campaign. Sometimes it's that a project doesn't look like it's going to fund, and so they pull the plug early in order to regroup. A bit rarer, but sometimes a project does fund, but then starts sliding backwards. Such was the case with Rivals: Masters of the Deep. They were sliding backwards a bit and Gen Con was coming up, so they were worried they'd lose more. Well, they've regrouped and have relaunched.
Rivals: Masters of the Deep is a tactical miniatures board game set in the depths of a strange sea. Take control of the Cog, the Nautilus, the Low Clans, or the Ancients in your bid for power and glory beneath the waves. They have a beta version of the rulebook up as part of the Kickstarter if you'd like to check it out as well.
The campaign's going now and is set to continue on for the next 29 days.
