Didn’t we get enough of this with Kingdom Misogyny?

I think it was the Game Classy guys who just called this Kickstarter out.

Yes, they are miniatures of women.
I don’t understand the problem here.

Enough of what? Called out for what?

If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

Oddly enough, quite a few women do like the raging heroes sculpts, mainly due to them being really high-quality female sculpts.

Most of the factions seem heavily armoured and reasonably realistic… if anything GW has produced far, far worse minis (sisters repentia, clad in skimpy leather scraps with nipple tassles with a mistress whipping them) as far as misogyny goes.

Looking through the Kickstarter, I really don’t see what all the fuss is about. Only the jailbirds faction has so much as an exposed midriff in terms of nudity, and even then that seems to be done for background reasons, with them being a punk-styled faction.

Yes, they’re female, and yes they’re in a gothic style, but other than that I don’t see what all the fuss is about.

Yes, some of the posing could be considered saucy (not all of it by any means), but if you look at any French studio’s output you’ll fine quite dynamic posing on any mini, male or female, it’s just the sculpting style that they use over there that draws inspiration from French media and comic books etc.

    Yeah,

I am tired of miniature companies making models of girls with over the top exaggerated sexiness. Real girls cant possibly compete or aspire to this….
