Throughout the year, there are dozens, if not hundreds, or probably thousands of gaming conventions. Each one is a chance for us to get together as a gaming nation and declare our love for all things geeky and gaming. Many times, gaming companies will come out directly to the shows and show off their wares and run events. It's a lot of work, but it's often worth it. Well, if you think you want to do that work, Privateer Press is looking for you.
The Convention Coordinator will be in charge of all logistics and planning for the shows that Privateer goes to during the year. It's stuff like booking travel and hotel rooms, coming up with a list of people who are going, getting the booth delivered to the show, making sure things are where they need to be, and actually going to the show and "putting out fires" as they show up, along with the Convention Manager. As I said, it's a lot of work, but if you've got an attention for detail and work well under pressure, it can be very rewarding, too.
