Privateer Press previews the upcoming warjacks for the Retribution of Scyrah:

From their website:

Recently unleashed upon the enemies of the Retribution, House Vyre’s myrmidons were developed with distinct capabilities all their own. The Banshee emits a high-pitched wail that prevents enemy spellcasters from using their magic, while its shrieking cannon hurls enemies aside with raw sonic power. A powerful assault myrmidon, the Daemon smashes foes with its rune fists or blasts them with concentrated arcane energy from its vortex cannon. The Sphinx rends its enemies with twin force claws or uses its runespear cannon to shatter an enemy’s mystical defenses, making it more vulnerable to magical attacks.

This box set contains three color stat cards and one multi-part heavy myrmidon plastic model (PIP 35034). Included are all the components to assemble one of three heavy myrmidon variants: Banshee, Daemon, or Sphinx. A player may field any number of these heavy myrmidons in a Retribution of Scyrah army.

  • Is it just me or do all the guns look far too bulky compared to the art?

    • Daemon & Sphinx don’t bother me much, but Banshee’s weapon looks very out of place.

Hmm… I don’t recall the Sphinx have a special rule named snikt

Seriously though, now that these are out, how much longer do we have to wait till the other factions get their second chassis boxes. Looking forward to getting some plastiresin Spriggans and Devastators.

These are not “out”. I think they are a February release?

      • pmavers

They weren’t on the Feb. release list, so I’m thinking March at the minimum.

Sorry, was meaning announced or ‘out’ in the open.

Secondary plastic kits for the main factions have already been confirmed/teased (its been so long I can’t remember anymore) as Wrath releases, so they’ll happen; eventually, like all Warmachine/Hordes releases.

The hands are much better proportioned and the heads much less silly looking than the first Ret kit… But the artworks for these guys had a very graceful, agile look to them that is completely missing here.

Still pretty decent models, just not as good as I was hoping.
