Wow! Gen Con got off to quite a start this morning! Seemed no sooner than I was awake than I was down at the hall looking over some things when Boom! The doors were opened! It was quite a mad rush in the hall. I don't know actual numbers, but several people I talked with and I all agreed that this year seems even busier than last (and that was a record-setting year for attendance).
All morning I've been posting galleries over on the TGN Facebook page. Because, well, this is the first year I've ever had the capability to do so as quickly and easily from the convention floor. No more running back up to the room to sort through an SD card full of several hundred photos.
There's a look at 100AD from Souljar, the new Dark Age releases from CMON, a preview of the production copy of Rise of the Kage from GCT Studios, a look at a prototype version of Thieves from Calliope Games, a general look around the Jasco booth, plus a look at the new Top Gun card game they are releasing, and (at least for now) a look into the Soda Pop Miniatures/Ninja Division display case.
Obviously, that's just barely scratching the surface and there'll be much more forthcoming. Now, to go type up an interview report with Stone Blade Entertainment.
