Phoenix Vul-Con 2012 posts Miniature Painting Contest details:

Entries to the miniature painting contest will be accepted Saturday Feb 25th, 10am to 6pm,
in the contest area adjacent to the museum. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
places for each category and one entry will be awarded best of show.

Categories:

Fantasy - Any individual miniature or group of miniatures from a Fantasy or Steampunk genre.
Science Fiction - Any individual miniature or group of miniatures from a Science Fiction genre.
Dust - Any figure, model, or grouping from the Dust genre.
Historical - Any individual miniature or group of miniatures from any Historical genre.
Open and Large - Any large miniature, model, diorama, or terrain pieces from any genre.
