The Pathfinder Society has announced its plans for the upcoming year, and it’s looking to be a time for exploration and adventure. After defeating one of their oldest and most clever foes, the Society is ready to set their sights on new challenges.
The Year of Unfettered Exploration will feature ten Pathfinder Society Scenarios that will influence the metaplot for this year. Each scenario will have a special metaplot icon on the cover, so players can easily recognize which scenarios will be impacting the year-long storyline.
To kick off the new year, the Society is launching Pathfinder Society Intro: Year of Unfettered Exploration, an interplanar adventure for 1st- to 4th-level characters written by Sen H.H.S. The scenario takes place during a celebration at the Grand Lodge in Absalom, where something mysterious is afoot.
Excitingly, this scenario and one other will debut at Gen Con 2023, giving players a chance to dive right into the new metaplot. Additional information about upcoming locations and characters will be revealed during the News from Organized Play panel at PaizoCon 2023.
