During this time of year, I tend to break out a bunch of horror movies, as most people do. Personally, I’m not much of a horror fan, but there are certain ones that I do enjoy. Most of them are a bit more campy and lighthearted than the ones that are truly foreboding and spooky. Though whichever you like, Pandemonium might be the board game for you, as it draws heavily from horror films of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It’s up on Kickstarter now
Can you make it out of the evil house alive? The game has cooperative, semi-cooperative, and elimination modes of play, so depending on how you choose, your other players may be out to help you, or they may be just buttering you up to trip you at the last minute so they can escape. The game comes with a whole bunch of minis, 250 cards, 150 tokens, special custom dice, an adventure booklet, and lots more bits and bobs to go with it.
The game just launched on Kickstarter and is already 4/5 of the way to funding (if they haven’t already by the time you’ve read this). It’s set to be running for the next 27 days.
