You know, I’ve never been drunk. Honestly. I’m a teetotaler, so there’s not much opportunity for it. However, hanging around gamers, who I have found tend to enjoy imbibing alcohol, I’ve certainly heard plenty of stories that start with, “Ok, and I was so drunk when…” Well, now the idea of telling about drunken antics has its own card game in the form of One Drunk Night. It’s up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
One Drunk Night… is unpredictable, frequently crude, and yet simple enough for anyone to learn. What makes this game great for your group of friends is that it is built more for fun and laughs than for points (never fear Type A’s, we have a great point system). This means it is easy for your friends to come and go within the game. A friend comes late, no problem! Deal them in. Tell them to play a card out of their hand that takes the story in a direction they would like to see. The rest is designed to be either intuitive or learn as you go.
Currently, we have a great team, we have invested 1000+ dedicated hours, and have a well-tested prototype. What we don’t have is a budget. Meeting our funding goal will enable us to get this game printed, brought to your door, and pay the relevant taxes and fees but not much else. Our hope is to greatly exceed this minimum, allowing us to move beyond the Kickstarter and position Atomic Children LLC. to put One Drunk Night… into everyone’s hands.
