Back in the day, my friend got Street Fighter II. We would play the hell out of it... even though I was horrible at it. I think I won 1 fight out of 100. I just wasn't good at that type of game. However, with something like Way of the Fighter, a new game by Ninja Division that's up on Kickstarter now, I feel my fortunes would be a bit better.
In the game, players take on the role of a prize fighter from all over the world, each with unique moves and styles of fighting. Each fighter has their own deck of cards with their special moves in it, however, that doesn't mean that you have to stick with that one deck. If fighters share a similar style, they can swap out moves between their decks, allowing you to customize your fighter's deck to just how you want it. There are two box sets for the game, each with their own sets of fighters and unique boards on which they can fight.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now. They're a bit more than halfway to their goal with still 20 days left on the clock.
