I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

I don’t get it. If these are exclusively for WH40K then where are the skulls? There should at least be some brass spikes or a cautionary statement that these lights may illuminate the grim darkness that conceals crappy paint jobs.

No, they only work on 40k miniatures is what they mean. Install them on some other company’s model and they won’t light.

Besides, crappy paint job? Who paints their miniatures anymore. It is way too hard! There’s like a brush, and paint and water involved. Totally impossible to do. Better to love 40k for their complex and ever changing rules than actually paint stuff. Those pictures on the cover of painted miniatures are just for the studio. You aren’t actually supposed to do that.

Lately, it is even a question of if you are supposed to assemble your miniatures. Probably, what you are supposed to do with these lights is buy them, try putting them in, give up after 5 minutes, and stick them in your closet. Then go buy another set.

That’s why GW put out an army for the gray knights. You don’t even have to paint them. They are entirely the same color as the plastic. Didn’t assemble your army? Well, that’s Chaos, right there, or Necrons in the process of reassembling themselves on the battlefield — or Orks being wacky!

Nice… actually that was one reason I went for a vampire counts army. Being a pennypincher and also short on time, it was great making zombies and skellies with missing limbs and/or coming out of the ground. Could make twice as many units in a single regiment box!

I’m also frugal — broke, actually. I have to get creative to stretch my figure budget, often scratch building portions of a model to use up spare limbs, etc. There is an orc casualty that comes with the Empire archers set. I’m looking forward to doing a very erotic conversion. I also have an ork madboy that was in the perfect position for sitting on a toilet with a newspaper in the back of a looted rhino.

          • lol.
