New Stormcast Eternals Miniatures and Battletome Now Available for Pre-Order
Games Workshop has introduced a new lineup of pre-orders for Warhammer Age of Sigmar fans, with the Stormcast Eternals once again taking the spotlight. As the forces of Sigmar prepare for another war, a range of new miniatures, a fresh battletome, and even festive-themed collectibles are now available for pre-order.
Stormcast Eternals Battletome
The Battletome: Stormcast Eternals is a comprehensive guide for those seeking to harness the power of Sigmar’s celestial warriors. This 152-page book offers insights into the history of the Stormcast Eternals, as well as detailed rules, formations, artefacts, and spells to use in games. Additionally, players can explore new units, faction terrain, and even the Anvil of Apotheosis, a system for creating custom heroes for narrative campaigns.
New Characters: Iridan the Witness and Tornus the Redeemed
This pre-order wave introduces two new characters to the battlefield: Iridan the Witness, who rides into battle on a Morrgryph, and Tornus the Redeemed, a former servant of Nurgle who has returned to Sigmar’s side. Iridan has taken on the grim task of providing his fellow warriors relief from the torment of endless Reforging, while Tornus has been reborn to lead the Ruination Chamber. Both miniatures offer customization options for players who enjoy personalizing their armies.
New Miniature Releases for Stormcast Eternals
The new pre-orders also include a range of multipart plastic kits for well-known heroes and new additions to the ranks of the Stormcast Eternals. This includes the Lord-Celestant, a master tactician, and the Lord-Relictor, a spiritual leader and healer on the battlefield. Joining them are the Lord-Terminos, known for his role in offering release to those weary of Reforging, and the Reclusians, the primary warriors of the Ruination Chamber. The Stormstrike Palladors, heavy cavalry units, are also ready to strike fear into the enemies of Sigmar.
Fans can now purchase previously boxed-only units individually, making it easier to enhance their Stormcast forces. Units such as Liberators, Prosecutors, and the magic-wielding Knight-Arcanum are now available for separate purchase. This provides more flexibility for players looking to expand specific aspects of their armies.
Black Library Releases and Holiday-Themed Goodies
In addition to the Stormcast Eternals releases, Games Workshop has expanded its Black Library collection with new Warhammer fiction titles. Notable releases include Anvils of the Heldenhammer: The Ancients by Dale Lucas and On the Shoulders of Giants and Other Stories by Adrian Tchaikovsky. The holiday season also brings a selection of festive Warhammer products, including ornaments, themed clothing, and a Warhammer 40,000 calendar to get fans in the holiday spirit.
