The Weird War II game, Konflikt ’47, gives us a look at a world where the conflict didn’t end when it did for us here in the real world. It also injects a bit of fancy in terms of technology and a bit of the occult. Though it’s not October anymore, Warlord Games has some new zombie troops available for the game, plus some heavy German troopers and a new American walker.
Being a German casualty doesn’t necessarily mean the war’s over for you. The Totenkorps are also the “corpse,” as they’re reanimated troopers pushed back on to the front line. They’re not the fastest or most tactically advanced, but another wave of bodies going at the enemy isn’t bad. On the other end of the spectrum, the Germans are also getting the Heavy Panzerschreck Team. These guys are heavily armored and armed, ready to take out Allied vehicles.
Speaking of Allied vehicles, one of those might be the American Mudskipper Jump Walker. Able to cross just about every type of terrain except “open sea,” this strong point can help you get some stronger firepower right where you need it on the battlefield.
