Myths of the Polish Campaign
Such was the cleverness of the Nazi propaganda machine that a full seventy years after Fall Weiss, the invasion of Poland, many myths persist concerning the ineptitude of the defenders. Spotlights
Infantry Battalion (PLAB01)
Numbering over 200, men the Polish Rifle Company is a force to be reckoned with. Armed with the Mauser Karabin rifle and supported by heavy machine guns they can create a formidable defensive line. Through careful deployment of artillery the Polish Rifle Company can call down a torrent of destruction upon the German troops as they struggle to pierce the co-ordinated volleys of rifle fire.

Rifle Company (BRAB06)
Britain’s BEF is the world’s first totally mechanised army. There is not a horse to be seen and every rifle battalion has its own armoured support. Whether stoic Guardsmen, long-service regulars, war-service territorials, or even highlanders marching to battle with the skirl of pipes, you can rely on a well-equipped Rifle Company to hold its positions against all comers.
