Coronos Parasite EngineGames Workshop have added several new 40K Dark Eldar figures to their Advance Orders page.

I’m way out of touch with 40k. Wasn’t the Venom a Citadel Journal vehicle for the Harlequins? So this has been retconned then? Will the Harlequins ever get a dedicated vehicle?

    • Doc

      Yes, don’t know, doubt it!
      🙂

Harlequins ride what they can get their hands on, that is always how it’s been in ‘official’ rules, Land Raiders in RT era. The Venom in CJ was just a ‘borrowed’ DE Venom. I would have liked it if Harlequins were able to take Venoms/Raiders in a DE army and a Wave Serpent in a Eldar army. I have already dedicated three Wave Serpents for Harlequin paint schemes in my Eldar paint queue (which is far to big).

  • I guessed they were the Engines when GW released those sneak peek images. Suitably icky stuff.

    Wow…

these guys are really pushing themselves with this line, i’m thoroughly impressed…

(crosses fingers to see if Craftworld Eldar will ever look as cool as this…)

  • Ho-Ly! I’ve been on the rocks with 40k as of late, but I can’t say no to Dark Eldar… Looks like I’ve got some painting to do, at least.

I really like what they have done with the Dark Eldar. If the new Necrons are half as good as this I will be a happy and broke man.

  • Who could have guessed these so-called Engines were indeed so organic !
Based on the same concept, my personal protoype looks radically different …

This said, “Coronos” Parasite Engine turns to be my favourite configuration (has a strange Zerg/Corruptor feeling for me).

  • Grim6

I have never likes the look of the dark Eldar until now. I’m totally impressed.

  • OK, now that’s cool.

I’ll be getting one. Or two.

  • Why are they listing the Talos Pain Engine and the Cronos Parasite Engine as separate. When they have the exact same part codes, and are the same multipart plastic kit

  • Ken

Wow. These are so much better than the original crop of dark eldar. I always thought GW copped out with those (eldar with spikes).
