Games Workshop have posted two new articles about the 40K Blood Angels chapter and also have several new Blood Angel models available for pre-order.

Blood Angels: Sample Armies – Part 2
In this article, we will be taking a look at a second set of sample army lists, each focusing on a particular strength of the Blood Angels, and once more proving the tactical flexibility of the Sons of Sanguinius. If you haven’t yet read Part 1 of this article, be sure to check out some more sample Blood Angels army lists here.

  • Oooooh… the librarian furioso makes it’s appearance 🙂

that stormraven is a stumpy looking craft… it sure packs a wallop thou…

So let me get this straight, u can only use the Stormraven with Blood Angels? Well that is surprising. That is a lot of model devoted to one sub army. I like it and would get one, but I play generic space marines and certainly cannot afford to start another GW game, not with all the other gaming goodness out there.

It comes with Grey Knight markings as well. Not sure if there are other chapter’s icon in the box but the Codexes would have to be updated in any case so currently it is only the Blood Angels

I’m sure eventually it will be available to all..maybe inanother codex or two. Wasn’t the Land Raider crusader a black templars-only unit initially?

        • Zac

          I believe that it was.

I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t expand it to the other chapters as well

    Bummer. Thanks Zac.

If you like the model there’s nothing stopping you using it with your Generic Space Marine or even your old Squat army if you want to. Unless you are restricting yourself to “GW Officially Official Rules Only”/ If you want to use the model, use it, and find someone who is like minded to play with. Free your game, man! Peace…!

I like how you think Osbad.
