Barrow-Knight Banner BearerMaelstrom Games have posted a preview of the Cynuise of Old, Barrow-Knight Banner Bearer figure from their Banelord fantasy range.

From their announcement:

The second BaneLord unveiled before Salute 2011 (which are being unveiled in no particular order, you understand) is the ancient but still able to stick you good and proper Cynuise of Old, a Barrow Knight Banner Bearer. He’s been visualised by the consistently brilliant Stefan Kopinski and sculpted by Stéphane Simon, who may be a newcomer to the BaneLegions but the wealth of sculpting experience he brings – thanks to his time with Rackham – ensures he will feature for us in the future with yet more BaneLords and BaneBeasts.

He’s up for pre-order right now on the Maelstrom Games webstore, of course, but you will be able to buy him at Salute 2011 from our stand before the actual release date of the 7th of May.

Oh, and his name is pronounced “kin-wise”. Another bout of pedantry from the BaneLegions team.

Great sculpt, and a model I’d quite like for my undead.

£15 though? Ouch. Think I’ll pass.

My thoughts exactly. While I did purchase their pricy Chimera, the quality and size of the figure helped justify it. I don’t see any of that with this particular mini.

Still looking forward to the rest of their unveilings though.
