Midweek Snippets

I hope you're making it through the week just fine.
Mine's hit a bit of a bumpy road, as I'm typing this from the mechanic's. Thankfully, they have free wifi. Seems Bitey, my car, isn't feeling so good and so he's getting a checkup.
So yeah, hopefully your week is going better than mine. But what's keeping me going is some gaming news, such as the bite-sized stories we've got for you now.

In this batch we have: New s-300 missile available for BallisticAces from BattleGateGames, Klukva Miniatures Releases Two New Busts, Purgatory's Second Model WIP Posted, Baueda new 15mm Gallic Cavalry On Indiegogo, PMD Games is launching their first Kickstarter on October 5th, Microshoggoth slimes into Tooth & Sword, and Draccus promo available for purchase from iello.

Purgatory's Second Model WIP Posted

Hello Everyone

After the launch of Death, Purgatory has set about bringing their second model to bear. St Peter is next up, another twist on the conventional with this St Peter playing the role of a nightclub bouncer in the game.

With a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, a crisp suit, doorman's ID, cross and sandals this model is unique in it's feel, we hope you agree.

The model should be finished in the coming week or 2 and will be available to buy very soon.

Let us know what you think :)

PMD Games is launching their first Kickstarter on October 5th

For years under King Gingard IV’s rule the Ginger Realm experienced peace and prosperity. Unfortunately this golden age came to end when King Gingard mysteriously vanished. With no one to rule the Realm, it spiraled into chaos. The six ginger lords are blaming each other for King Gingard’s disappearance, which has led the realm to war.

As is customary in the Ginger Realm a new leader must prove their worth in combat. The six lords ruthlessly duke it out, exerting dominance by claiming pieces of their fallen opponents. Once one lord has claimed all 5 pieces required to make a full ginger person, they are victorious…and to the victor go the spoils. The defeated five lords piece themselves back together and pledge their loyalty to the winner and crown them the new king of the Ginger Realm.

In The Ginger Wars, each player has 5 character pieces in which they protect and battle others for their pieces. The first person to complete a brand new gingerbread person wins the game.

It's fast paced where you're constantly attacking and defending with your battle cards. You have to be smart and pick your opponents wisely, manage your revolving deck of cards and keep track of what others have played. You need to get your bluffing game going. Get people to waste their strength and attack them when they're momentarily weak.
The Ginger Wars aims to appeal to the casual and more experienced gamers. It doesn't take long to learn the rules, but playing your opponents like a fiddle will take time.

Microshoggoth slimes into Tooth & Sword

Free from the underearth, the Microshoggoth Adventurer forges his own path. Fueled by magic atoms, aligned to wickedness. His tentacles grasp his cthonic ruin-sword, beware it's corrupting blade.

Draccus promo available for purchase from iello

If you weren’t able to snag a Draccus at Gen Con 2015, you are now able to make an online donation to the Worldbuilders charity to claim one as your own!

100% of the sales of the new Draccus card will go to support Rothfuss’s charity Worldbuilders, which has to date raised over $3.5 million for Heifer International to help end hunger and bring families and communities out of poverty. So you’ll be able to destroy Tokyo with a clear conscience! The Worldbuilders staff are also a bit crazy for tabletop and role-playing games, and one of their favorites is King of Tokyo. There may be fights over who gets to be the Draccus.
