This shortened work week continues along. I’m certainly looking forward to the upcoming weekend. Gonna get together and hang out with some friends I don’t get to see too often. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of tasty snacks and treats to be had, too. But before we get there, we need to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: New Releases Available from Terrible Kids Stuff, New Heroes for the Pacific From Stoessi’s Heroes, Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities For A Viking Encounter, and New Orc Sturmtankette Available From Kromlech.

New Releases Available from Terrible Kids Stuff

We would like to introduce a special release, one of which we are particularly proud of. A great collaboration between Gerald D Brom, Yannick Hennebo and Angel Giraldez in exclusive for MuMi. The Devil’s Rose in 32mm scale, casted in high quality resin by GRX Créations. All the mark up will be devolved to La Terra dei Bambini Onlus for charity, help us out by spreading the word for this good cause.

Furthermore we are happy to introduce two new miniatures: Hero 2 and Zombie 2!

The discount code TKSWHATELSE (10%) is valid only for today’s releases and is active from now to the 16th of October 2017!

New Heroes for the Pacific From Stoessi’s Heroes

This time around Stoessi’s Heroes are releasing at two famous British characters that fans of the movie A bridge too far will certainly recognize. Furthermore, two Japanese characters are ready for the battlefield and those were inspired by the movie Letters from Iwo Jima. And, lastly, a pretty crazy US Marine named Tony Stein who carried a modified fighter plane machine gun into battle.

Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities For A Viking Encounter

Welcome to the tenth title in Skirmisher Publishing’s popular and ongoing “100 Oddities” series! “100 Oddities for a Viking Encounter” is a thematic sourcebook that contains lists of 100 Items, 20 Places, and 30 People & Monsters that can be used separately or in conjunction with one another to add some evocative details to a Viking-themed encounter or to construct one from scratch. These elements routinely cross the line between actual mythological elements and meta-references to them, and storytellers can decide in any given case whether they are dealing with something legendary or merely reminiscent of it.

Oddities are things that stand out from the ordinary, and prompt both game masters and players to wonder about them. Oddities intrigue and awaken curiosity and creativity in player and storyteller alike, adding interest to an encounter, or even making one out of nothing. Traditional combat encounters with stock monsters in standard subterranean rooms, followed by obligatory searches and looting, tend to run together after a while and become unmemorable to players. A crippled blacksmith found trapped in a mountainside cave, however, who is repairing an oversized iron plow that he says once belonged to a goddess and which must be fixed in time for an important annual ritual, is more likely to stick with them.
