The week continues along. It’s a shortened week for many of us, but it’s still a week. We’ll make it to next weekend, eventually, though. No worries. But if we want to get there, we should re-energize with some bite-size gaming stories.
Today we have: New Magic Tokens Available From Advanced Deployment, New Releases Available From Purgatory Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm Parthians, New Crystal Tech blank Bases Deals Available From Tabletop-Art, Surreal Dice Tower Coming To Kickstarter, Acheson Creations Releases Daedon Miniature, Final Days for Hedgerows and Heroes On Kickstarter, New Glyphs Available From Bits of War, and Flat Bases for War Contraptions Now Available From Tabletop-Art.
Small update today.
Say you are playing a card game…a…Magical one…and you are in a desert land…and you want some tokens. Well, you are in luck, as we have everything you need, from brick tokens to embalmed and exhumed trinkets!
The latest wave of models have arrived for the Purgatory game which is due to fulfil by August this year.
The latest editions, show the alternate version of Siren, with her darker self revealed alongside different rules. In addition, we get a peek of the first character from the newest faction Parlour Tricks. Small Daniels (who looks like a scary Dungeon Master) is the first up and he has that creepy edge!
Cyan, the 3rd character from the Gangbangers faction has finally arrived and will allow you to really get to grips with this faction, alongside Godmother and St. Peter.
Finally Faith is back after her hot of the shelf appearance last time around. Faith is the first member of the Refugees of Religion and with the recent announcement that both the Gangbangers and Refugees of Religion will be focused upon in the Kickstarter this year, it’s all getting interesting with this very unique game!
We have released the first codes for our 15mm Parthian Empire ranges — early Parthians, and foot archers for the Parthians or their client states (which are also suitable for Seleucid eastern levy archers).
These are for the earlier part of Parthian history, when they had established themselves in the old satrapy and were at war with the Seleucids and, later, the Republican Romans. The Iranian Revival in Parthia was not yet in full swing, and chainmail was not yet in use, so these may look a bit different than you’re accustomed to, but this was the fighting force that put the scare into the Seleucid army so that they adopted their own cataphracts.
There’s some controversy as to whether Parthian cataphracts carried archery equipment, so we have provided a separate gorytos bowcase/quiver with them and the command set so you can decide for yourself whether to add them. The standardbearers in the command sets are supplied with both a (bare) flagpole and a draco.
Now available – Crystal Tech blank 25mm, 32mm and 40mm DEALS.
I am excited to announce that my wife Erica and I will be launching our first Kickstarter project soon in June 2017! We are combining our love for tabletop gaming and surreal art! What is a dice tower? A dice tower is an object used by gamers to roll dice fairly. Dice are dropped into the top of the tower, and bounce off of various hidden platforms inside it before emerging from the front. Dice towers eliminate some methods of cheating which may be performed when rolling dice by hand. A Roman dice tower artifact called, Vettweiss-Froitzheim dates back to 4th century! There are many forms of towers and they vary in construction and design. This dice tower was inspired by late visionary surrealist artist Zdzis?aw Beksi?ski’s amazing architectural paintings. All of his works are fantastic and we hope to raise enough money in the campaign to produce a limited run of these dice towers at an affordable price and travel to the Zdzis?aw Beksi?ski museum in Sanok, Poland. I absolutely love Beksi?ski’s work and must see it in person someday. Working with a factory that produces for companies like Sideshow Toys gives me great confidence on the quality and I can’t wait to see our first sample.
