A new pyramid has been discovered in Egypt. Legend has it that inside it, somewhere in the labyrinthine halls, is the King's Chamber. Inside that lays the riches of the god Anubis. What a find! You (Professor B. Gammon) and your Assistant (Seneto) are there to go find that chamber. However, there's a small problem. The only entryway is just barely big enough to send your faithful dog, Ludo, into the pyramid. Thankfully, you have the Mask of Anubis, which can help you see through your dog's eyes, helping you guide him through. But will you be able to successfully find the chamber, or will you lose your pooch in the maze-like structure? That's the story behind Mask of Anubis, a virtual board game that's up for pre-order now.
In the game, players are looking to create the maze that's described to them by the player wearing the mask. The game runs via an app. you have on your smartphone. That phone goes into a holder that represents the mask. One player will put on the mask, which will then give them one minute of viewing time. Looking around this virtual world, they'll describe what they see to the other players, who will take that information to pick the right pieces in order to continue the map in front of them. When the minute is up, the mask gets passed to another player for another round. After seven rounds, the app. will show you the correct map to the chamber. If what you created matches, then you win.
