The Korean War is sometimes known as The Forgotten War, as there's a lot of focus put on WWII and Vietnam, but not so much on the war that is only over due to a cease-fire and not any more formal declaration of cessation of hostilities Though it wasn't the longest war, by far (in fact, the TV show, M.A.S.H. was on air longer than the main confrontation), it did leave a bit of a mark on society. Well, now you can put yourself into those tough times in MASHED, a Korean War RPG that's up on Kickstarter now.
In the game, players take on the role of medics and personnel in a M.A.S.H. unit during the Korean War. Sure, there will be times when casualties come in, but much of the game takes place around those bits of action. The idea is to get a much more psychological look at warfare and what even those that never see actual combat have to deal with. And if you want to make your own distillery, there's that, too.
The Kickstarter is up and running now. They're already about halfway to their goal with still 28 days to go.
