Mannikin Studios have posted a preview of their Grimm’s Cat miniature and also updated their release schedule.

Grimm's Cat

From their announcement:

We’re very excited to preview the first completed sculpt in our forthcoming series of fae trees, Grimm’s Cat.
Grimm’s cat was sculpted by the very talented Jody Siegel of Imbrian Arts, and is based in part on Arthur Rackham’s artwork for Grimm’s Fairy Tales. More images, including the concept art, are available on our Web site.

We originally planned to release our first models–Rip Van Winkle and glennling 1–in time for the holiday season this year, but due to a number of unavoidable circumstances the public release date has been pushed back to late March 2011. Our sincere apologies to those of you who were hoping to purchase these models this month.

The good news is that the models have arrived, and are bagged and ready to ship. Although the shop doors here at Mannikin Studios won’t officially open for a few more months, we are considering a limited release of these two models to subscribers of our newsletter sometime before the end of the year. The models will sell for $12 US each; shipping is a flat rate of $4.95 worldwide. Watch your in-box for more information.
