Manage Your Own Anime Studio in JISOGI: Anime Studio Tycoon, Now Live on Kickstarter
Esper Game Studio has announced the launch of its new board game, JISOGI: Anime Studio Tycoon, which is now live on Kickstarter. In this strategic game, players take on the role of an anime studio manager, juggling creative and business responsibilities in the fast-paced world of anime production.
The game’s title, JISOGI reflects the need to constantly move forward to avoid failure—much like a bicycle must keep moving to stay upright. In JISOGI, players face a range of challenges, from managing resources and hiring talent to developing original stories and staying on top of market trends.
Collaborating with well-known artists like Eisuke Gou, Senkawa Teien, and Thomas Romain, Esper Game Studio has created an authentic gaming experience inspired by real-world stories from the anime industry. Designed for 1 to 4 players, the game offers a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, making it suitable for both casual gamers and experienced board game enthusiasts.
The Kickstarter campaign, which was fully funded within two hours of its launch, will run until November 21. The game is available in both English and Japanese, with players choosing their preferred language version during the pledge process.
