Jasco Games has been getting a lot of questions about the upcoming Mega Man Board Game they’re working on, so they’ve made a little FAQ to try and clear the air.

From the FAQ:

We’ve announced the Mega Man Board Game a few weeks ago, but since then, there hasn’t been a lot of new information. While we still can’t reveal everything, we wanted to put together a quick FAQ with the information available to the general public. As a reminder: if you read something from another source and don’t see it here, then it’s not confirmed or official information and should be treated as such!

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

I was sort of on the fence with the shot of the models, but the description of the gameplay pretty much turned me off, so I’ll pass.

Kind of sounds like a CCG and the figures are superfluous to the actual game play, doesn’t it?

        Yeah, it really does

Interesting reactions.. the game(s) I’m working on use both figures and cards.. but the figures aren’t really superfluous. Without knowing more it’s really hard to say if the miniatures effect the game or not. I got the vibe that there are multiple figures and they attack Megaman as he advances through the boards.
