Friends and family are on the look-out for Matthew Randy better known online as Invader Larb.

any of you know Invader Larb (Matthew Randy) very well…he has been a very active participant on this and other gaming forums. I am his brother. He has gone missing. He was last seen Wednesday, May 19th at 0750 EST leaving his home in Jericho, Vermont, driving a gold 2002 Acura RL. His cell phone is off. The police have been notified and a special investigator has been hired by the family to help locate him.

Neither Casey (his wife) or I know where he has gone or why, and this is very unusual behavior for Matt. We do not know if he was involved in an accident, or if something else is going on. Frankly, we are very concerned for his safety…we are worried he may do himself harm.

I would say that a reward will be offered for any information that helps us find Matt, but I don’t have to. You know and love Matt just as I do, and I am sure will do all you can to help ensure he is safe. Please contact me via email at [email protected] or via cell phone at (802) 316-0415 if you hear anything. Thank you very much for your help.

Update: Sadly it appears that Matthew has taken his own life.

My brother Matt (known to many of you as Invader Larb) was found this morning after being missing since Wednesday morning. He had checked himself into a hotel, and at some point between Wednesday and this morning, he took his own life.

At this point, the local police are still conducting their investigation. They were able to tell me there was no sign of trauma or that his death was in any way traumatic. As I know more, I will share it with all of you.

The outpouring of support from this community has been tremendous since I first asked for help in finding him. I wish I could have called each of you to deliver this news in person, so please forgive the…disconnect, for lack of a better word. I know he meant a great deal to many of you just as all of you meant a great deal to him. There are still a great many questions we have…please feel free to contact me via PM or email if you would like to talk about Matt or would like more answers. Your support is greatly appreciated by myself, his wife Casey, their four “kids” (3 cats and Viktor, their dog) and his family
