Interface Zero 2.0: Cyberpunk Action for the Pathfinder RPG Up On Kickstarter

I’ve always loved sci-fi. And one of my favorite “worlds” in which to explore when dealing with sci-fi is the sort of rustwire tech of Cyberpunk. Blade Runner, NetRunner, Snowcrash, Neuromancer… all some of my favorite things. Though it can be hard to find a nice D20 system to use when wanting to RP in that sort of world. Well, Gun Metal Games is looking to solve that with Interface Zero 2.0, a cyberpunk setting and rulebook for Pathfinder. It’s up on Kickstarter now.

The game takes its inspiration from many places. Some of those are listed above, others include various anime series such as Akira and Cowboy Bebop. Though it doesn’t quite place megacorporations as the main antagonists (as many of these settings do). Instead, it’s more geopolitical intrigue. That’s not to say you can’t have some megacorp looking to just wring every cent out of the populace, of course.

Characters take on traditional roles as seen in the setting. You’ve got hackers, bounty hunters, drone jockeys, and government agents (among others. There are 16, total). There’s also 7 races in the game you can choose from, along with various feats, gear, and cybernetics to truly get you into a near-futuristic sense.

The campaign’s doing well. They’re almost to their goal already with still 28 days left to go.
