You ever have a group of friends that you talk with so often you'll end up coming up with a new language with them? Like, a whole set of in-jokes and phrases that only you really understand? If you do, then you'll be one step ahead of the game when playing Hylaria. It's a new party game that's up on Kickstarter now.
In the game, players are split up into two teams. Those teams come up with a special code in order to communicate with one-another. Then, everyone sits down at a table and are dealt two face-down tiles. A player then describes what tiles they have, using their code, so only the other players on their team understand. That player then takes a tile from anyone else and plays it on the board. If there are two other matching tiles like it, then the team gets a point and extra tiles are removed. Those tiles count as points. The first team to 22 points is the winner.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now and is set to go for another 25 days.
