We’re working with veteran designer James M. Day (Panzer, 88, Armor, MBT, IDF, Kaiser’s Pirates, and a host of computer games to his credit) on a new standalone game called Frontline General: Spearpoint 1987. Jim is taking the basic Spearpoint 1943 card-based system and applying it to a near-modern 1987 European hypothetical conflict setting between the US and USSR, drawing from his expertise on cold war era US and Soviet military equipment. Jim is taking our Spearpoint line to a whole new level by introducing modern equipment with this new standalone game. Follow along with us as we work to preview the game beginning with a look at the Mark Mahaffey box art via our Facebook Page (very soon), with more previews and information to follow.
