Friday Snippets

And we've made it, once again, to Friday. Woot!
The weekend lays ahead of us. If you're lucky, you've got some gaming scheduled. That's what I'll be doing.
In the meantime, we've got our regular set of bite-sized gaming stories for you.

On the platter today we have: Sine Tempore Coming To Kickstarter, Devil's Run RPG Coming To Kickstarter, Unit Reference Cards for Combat Patrol Napoleonic Skirmish Released, Raging Heroes Releases Toughest Girls of the Galaxy Heavy Weapons Teams, Board Game Beaver Interviews Anne Pätzke, Brother Vinni Releases Robotic Dog, Kromlech Weekend Promo Happening Now, and Dreamchaser: A Game of Destiny Coming To Kickstarter.

Sine Tempore Coming To Kickstarter

Sine Tempore

Sine Tempore will take you back to a faraway past, thousands of years before Nova Aetas, exploring new worlds in search of a new home where characters can live and prosper.
During this long journey, your spaceship will come across a number of different alien species, some friendly, others somewhat suspicious or openly hostile.
In the box you’ll find 39 miniatures, 4 of which are heroes, with whom you will delve into the dangers of Primevus V, through unexplored jungles, used as hunting grounds by Primaevi and the ancient ruins of civilisation used by the latter as a resting base.
A campaign designed to be replayed with different paths each time will lead you to 3 different endings in your search for the resources you need to survive.
An efficient “end game” system will help you to develop your characters through a modern tree skill system and a tested crafting mechanism inspired by Nova Aetas.

Devil's Run RPG Coming To Kickstarter

Devil's Run

The producers of the Devil's Run board game, Word Forge Games, have already enjoyed two successful kickstarters: Route 666 and Hell's Highway. Now we'll be opening up the setting and exploring the setting at full throttle!

Like a pheonix rising from the ashes of a nuclear fire, we (Red Scar) announced earlier this week that we're very much alive and looking to kick, so please head over to our facebook page or website and sign up for regular updates! Strap yourselves in and enjoy the ride!

Raging Heroes Releases Toughest Girls of the Galaxy Heavy Weapons Teams

Heavy Weapons Team

It's time to upgrade your strike force with Raging Heroes new Heavy Weapons Teams. Finally available from the Toughest Girls Of The Galaxy collection, here comes the missing squad to complete your armed-to-the-teeth troops and lead them to victory.

The Iron Empire, the KST and the Jailbirds all get their own 3 different Heavy Weapons Team. Each squad comes with 1 artillery base, 2 different weapon mounts, 2 servants, 2 extra heads, 1 pair of alternative legs, 1 extra pair of arms, 1x40 mm round base and 2x25 mm round bases. The scale is 28mm heroic.

About the weapon mounts, the team #01 will open fire with a Mortar and a Cannon. Team #02 will intensify the attack with a Gatling and a Machine Gun, and Team #03 will finish the enemy with a Rocket Launcher and an Energy Gun. Now, we're talking about some serious heavy artillery...

And, again, with many customisation options. Indeed, it's the reason why many wargamers are getting two of each!

Dreamchaser: A Game of Destiny Coming To Kickstarter

First RPG from Imagining Games launches on Kickstarter Tuesday January 24.

Play out your dream, your destiny, or your ideal story! Dreamchaser empowers players to imagine their goal and to play out the story of pursuing it. Dreamchaser: A Game of Destiny is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game about experiences. Imagine what you want to experience in your game—what you can achieve? What experiences do you want to share with friends? With family? Experience life-changing moments, explore the unexplored, cure the incurable, champion a cause, or live out your own dreams. Maybe, you'll even challenge what your own life could be...

Dreamchaser is a simple, elegant, and flexible RPG. With a Game Master as your guide, players don't even have to open the book to play. You only need your imagination and a character sheet to capture it. Plan if you want or play on the fly. It easily fits into your schedule, just like watching a movie. There is no math beyond assigning a few points. To succeed, roll under your score on an easy to understand 1-10 scale. Reroll failures by better describing how your character is suited for the task. Welcome busy friends, family, and new players to the hobby with a game that doesn't discourage them to join, it encourages them. Encourage player investment by helping them imagine the game of their dreams. Empower the Players!

Create Goals, Create Characters, Create Experiences.

Chase your dreams January 24th!
