Friiiiiiidaaaaaaay! The gateway to the weekend. Hopefully you’ve got some gaming planned for the next couple days. I don’t have anything specific lined up, but there’s still plenty of time. At the very least, I’m thinking I want to make some brownies this weekend. Though I might throw in something a little special…
That being cayenne pepper. You know, I’ve heard a lot about mixing “heat” with “sweet” and am finally gonna give it a go. I’ll let you know about the results.
Anyway, before we get to those tasty bites, we have some tasty bites here to deal with.

Lead Adventure Miniatures goes Kickstarter! We proudly announce our new Sci-Fi range Astropolis.
This is a project dear to our heart, which we want very much to be realized, and for which we will need your support and encouragement. We’ve thought long and hard about the design of a Sci-Fi range that is true to the “Lead Adventure Miniatures” style – it had to be something special and unique. From that starting point, Igor created miniatures that embody this world – a fascinating vision of the future, in which humans are still humans, no genetic super-warriors; human spaceships traversing endless space on the unceasing quest for happiness and a new world to call home; humans (and aliens, too!), who don’t wear armour all day long while vanquishing mortal enemies, but rather have character and individuality. We hope we are headed in the right direction and there is some real interest in these figures out there. We hope you will share this vision and will support us in making this figure range reality. Beyond the initial range, there are lots of questions we want to explore with this project – who were the aliens that crushed Earth of Old, who are the Outlaws, where does the Military stand in all this? Which other ships and planets did the good ship “Astropolis” encounter? This and much more we hope to flesh out, given your help and support.
Hi folks, how are you? We were ‘out town’ for a little bit and we are sorry about it, but now we are back and ready to release new figures.
The discount code for this release is NOT4ALL and it will last on October 1st (10 days), it will give you a 20% discount on your order subtotal, it works with our last releases (it works even with The Child Thief, but we have just a few of them). Syrinscape, creator of the award-winning apps that put the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, music and dynamic tabletop audio solutions at the fingertips of the gamer, announces today the release of the Geek & Sundry’s Critical Role: Goblin Raid SoundPack.
The Geek & Sundry’s Critical Role: Goblin Raid SoundPack includes everything gamers need to run their own game the same way Critical Role host Matt Mercer did during the now-legendary “To the Poop” goblin raid Pathfinder RPG adventure on the show, including the rain and thunder Matt pummeled the poor goblin PCs with, the squelches, slops and gas releases of the stinky sewer, the chaos of the goblin raid on Sandpoint and the pounding music of the Hell’s Rebels Adventure Path for the Pathfinder RPG. As an added bonus, the Geek & Sundry’s Critical Role: Goblin Raid SoundPack also includes the voices of three of Critical Role’s high-profile NPCs voiced by Matt Mercer himself. Players will be able to converse with Victor the black powder salesman, Nostoc Greyspine the gravelly dwarf minor and Drez Vina, the smooth, aloof elf.

Leon Thonhauser, the man behind Turncoat games, has finally realised a dream in launching his first Kickstarter and batch of miniatures.
Turncoat’s Kickstarter (currently at 93% funded) are producing high quality Cavalry models for all WW2 games and genres. Japanese, Russian Mongolian, and Cossack, with a view to other models in the future.
“It’s been absolutely phenomenal,” said Leon, “because with every pledge, we get a little nudge in the right direction of how to better serve our new customers. We’re getting lots of opinions and feedback, so we know exactly what people want now and in the future,”
The Kickstarter ends 11th October 2016, with a target of £2500, but Leon is confident that they will achieve their goal in the next day or so, owing to the amazing support of the tabletop community thus far.
Rob Alderman of Hysterical Games added; “Looking forward to adding these excellent models to my Bolt Action armies. Leon and Turncoat Games have got years of experience and know what the players want. They have delivered some excellent Cavalry models for the gaming community”
