Well, despite Wednesday and Thursday trying to pull a fast one on me by making me think it was Friday when it really wasn’t (seriously, I worked much of yesterday thinking it was Friday, despite posting up a Terrain Corner…), the real Friday has stood up. As we make our way to the weekend, it’s a good opportunity to stock up on some bite-size gaming stories.
Today for you we have: Red Panda Miniatures Posts New Wander Artwork, Dungeon Crawler Miniatures Running Behemoth Miniature Kickstarter, Khurasan releases 18mm WSS Bavarians, Cromatica Models Launches WWII German Fieseler 105 LutfKrieger Fighter Kickstarter, and Brigade Models Release new 6MM SF Vehicles.
Depending on where this Kickstarter campaign ends up, this lady will either be one of the stretch goals or she will eventually end up in the line in time.
If you felt like you missed out on the art-stream, our artist will be doing more art streams like this one, so dont worry about it! There will definitely be more in the future. In fact, we are talking to our painter Elizabeth Beckley about co-hosting a hobby hangout sometime next week! We will share more info on that as it comes in.
As always, make sure you guys spread this around and show your gaming and hobby friends! The more people we can get this campaign in front of helps us out immensely. We wont be able to do this without your support! We can do this people!!! 😀
This figure has a space on it’s crown for a 1×1 (1inch/25mm base) figure to ride upon. The tongue will be removable. It’s base size is an incredible 8×8 (8 inches/200mm round) and will be Combat Clip ready.
We are very pleased to release our newest codes for our very popular 18mm Marlburian range, Bavarian Musketeers and Grenadiers.
These infantry have the distinctive large cartridge box used by the Bavarian Foot, and wear gaiters as did the infantry of the Electorate. The Grenadiers have the holstered pistol worn on their belt as well.
Use British infantry command for the Bavarian command figures, and Austrian cavalry for the Cuirassiers. A set of cavalry command will be made for the Bavarians in due course.
The Fieseler 105. A SCI-FI WWII plane which you’d surely like and which is perfect for all the lovers of Paolo Parente’s Dust, as it can be used in the game perfectly.
The kit will be released first in resin, as the molds for plastic would increase dramatically the cost of the campaign.
The campaign is around the basic kit, but it includes some stretch goals, in order to create up to 4 versions of the model, including one with rockets in the nose, and jet engines.
We would like to cheer you up to contribute in the campaign so that this model could see the light as it will be the first of many!
Way back in the mists of time (April), we released two new 15mm vehicles – the Eisenfaust (Iron Fist) laser tank
and the Kastenwagen (box van) platoon APC. These have now both been translated down to 6mm, and are available on
the website today.
SF300-311 – Henschel Pz266 ‘Eisenfaust’ Laser Tank – £1.25
SF300-312 – Henschel Pz441 ‘Kastenwagen’ Platoon APC – £1.25
And since we’re on the subject of 6mm, we’re attending the Joy of Six show in Sheffield in a couple of weeks’ time.
Since Jo6 is a 6mm-themed show, we will only be bringing our 6mm SF range, plus Squadron Commander (as this is also 6mm scale)
and the 2mm Small Scale Scenery range (since we know that at least one game at the show will be using our buildings alongside
6mm figures). We should have a good stock of both packs and individual models for those ranges, including 6mm vehicles, figures
and buildings and SCR starter packs, blisters and individual models. We’ll also have Osprey’s new Horizon Wars rules and
Legionnaire Games’ Strike Legion books.
We can also bring orders for any of our other ranges, but will need to know in advance. Because Tony will be going on a family
holiday before the show, we need any more pre-orders for collection at the show by the end of Monday next week at the latest
(July 4th) so that he has time to process them before we leave – so you only have three more days to get them to us.
And most exciting of all, we’re hoping to have something completely new that only arrived this week, and which Phil will be
hopefully be putting into moulds while Tony is away. But that’s all we’re saying about that, just in case…
