A decision by my bank, HSBC, to decline a transfer between my bank account and PayPal has resulted in the suspension of links between my bank account and PayPal. I have to sort this out using snail mail (because it is a business account, and I can’t do it online), and as a result I have suspended PayPal payments in the online shop because I am currently unable to transfer money out of my PayPal account. Please bear with me while this is sorted out. The decision is entirely the fault of HSBC, whose customer services representative decided to hang up on me once I got them to admit it was the bank’s fault. This is the third time that HSBC has let my business down (and yes, I will be changing my bank).
