The opening to WWII was quick and brutal. The Germans swept into Poland using their Blitzkrieg tactics (so called because it was “as fast as lightening”). Then, after the decisive victories there, they turned their attention towards France, heading there and conquering that country in also rather rapid form. The Fall Weiss expansion of Ostfront lets you play out those battles (though hopefully giving the Polish and French a good chance of winning, depending on how you play) on your tabletop. It’s available now.
From the release:
Fall Weiss is the 1939 / 1940 supplement for Ostfront, that has been a year in the making. Covering the Invasion of Poland, the Battle of France and the forces involved. Fall Weiss includes complete army lists for the Polish Armed Forces, French Army, and lists for the early Wehrmacht, Soviet, and British Armies.
Fall Weiss contains a full campaign complete with map, 3 brand new scenarios – 1 depicting Dunkirk, and another for Westerplatte, as well as the extensive army lists, history and descriptions of each unit. Fall Weiss adds over 50 new units!
